Implant Prosthesis

Implant Prosthesis

Implant applications are one of the treatment methods that we use frequently today. We are able to produce solutions in a wide range of directions. From single tooth deficiency to all toothless cases, we can replace the teeth lost by patients with implant prostheses.  Implant prostheses are produced from materials that mimic natural teeth.  Implant prostheses can be made in two ways, fixed and mobile. According to the jawbone widths, heights and quality of the patients, the location and number of implants are decided in the clinic with the help of intra-oral panoramic and, if necessary, tomography X-rays.

Implants can only be applied to the area in the cavity in patients with tooth deficiency, maintaining solid tooth integrity instead of cutting the intact teeth next to the tooth cavity in the treatment of fixed prosthesis.

In order to preserve the aesthetic appearance of the patient after the implant procedure applied in the front area, temporary prosthesis compatible with other teeth is made to the patient in that day.  Thus, the patient's speech and chewing functions are increased and they have an aesthetic appearance. Patients can use these temporary prostheses during the waiting period prescribed for bone healing.

Implant Fixed Prostheses

Implanted fixed prostheses (coatings and bridges) are prostheses that can be made in situations that can vary from a single tooth deficiency to full jaw toothlessness and are used in a stable form by gluing or screwing them into over-implant parts (abutments). Thanks to the developing technology today, we can take our implant prosthesis measurements with digital combs and we can make our screw superstructure prostheses quickly.

If there is no blocking condition for implant procedure in the general health of people in completely toothless mouths, 4 to 8 implants are required for fixed implant prostheses. These prostheses can be made of classical metal ceramic or zirconium, such as fixed prostheses made on teeth. One of the most important points in our clinic is implant-prosthesis compatibility, which is one of the most important factors determining the life of the implant. Mostly we prefer to make screwed prostheses.

 Implant based  REMOVABLE Prostheses

REMOVABLE  prostheses on implants are prostheses that can be inserted and removed by the patient on implants placed in people who do not have any teeth. By examining the jawbone and the general health of the patient, moving prostheses can be made on the upper jaw on 2 to 4 implants. Especially in patients who use full-toe prosthesis, lower prostheses may dislodge during eating and speaking as a result of excessive bone melting. In people who have difficulty getting used to full (dam) prostheses, who have a lot of movement in the prosthesis and who cause discomfort by injuring the veils, by connecting the implant prosthesis on the implants applied to the jaws, the prosthesis movement is eliminated, people can comfortably perform chewing and speaking functions, trust and comfort are provided to the people, they can live their social lives more comfortably. It is a form of treatment that increases the comfort of life of our patients.

Control Appointments

Routine annual checks are a must for patients who have implants. After having their implant prosthesis done, people should come to the dentist's check-ups once or twice a year, even if they have problems or not. In these controls, intra-oral and radiological checks of the patients are carried out, whether there is any loss in the bone, whether the patient can clean his prosthesis adequately, gum health is examined and if there are procedures to be performed. In this way, the use of implants and prostheses of patients is ensured for a long time.Important tasks also fall in terms of care for a patient who has an implant.
